Dear Pupuke Parents



As many of you know we have been trialling out the two rooms for the past week. This has not been too successful. Our group of Tui children is still quite small and we feel that it is too stressful to remove them from the larger group of children in the Pukeko Room and isolate them in the other room.

To this end, we will be operating as one group of children and teachers based in the Pukeko Room. However, we will open up the playground and inside area of the Tui Room as well so all of the children can have access to both rooms and playgrounds. This will ensure that, when the time comes to open up the Tui Room on a regular basis the younger children will be very familiar with their environment.

We have a new teacher, Crystal, starting with us on the 13th of July. Crystal has worked at Bayfield Early Education Centre for the past four years and has over ten years experience working in Day cares. She is a qualified teacher with 3 young children. Please welcome her to the team at Pupuke Early Education Centre.
