Toddler Toes - Music and Movement


We are fortunate to be able to introduce Toddler Toes (Music and Movement) as part of our learning programme. The programme will run for 30 minutes within school term times which is around ten weeks.
The children will be given opportunities to express themselves within music and movement, with the support of a very enthusiastic facilitator from Toddler Toes. Skills and strengths developed through music and movement include balance, co-ordination, co-operation, agility, flexibility, and so on. We feel this will benefit the children immensely considering the winter months are approaching so therefore time outside for them to use and develop gross motor skills will be limited.
Toddler Toes sessions are 30 minutes in duration, and will be starting at Pupuke Early Education on Wednesday 21st July 2010. If you are interested in finding out how the programme will be run we are having a free session in the Tui Room at 10.45 – 11.15am and the Pukeko Room from 11.20 – 11.50am this Wednesday 2nd June.
The cost is $3.00 per session per child which equates to $30.00 per term. Please note that if you have joined our “special account fund” this money will be deducted from it accordingly. If you do not already have a “special account fund” but would like to join, please see Rhonda at reception as it makes life a lot easier for everyone if we do not have to chase people up for money.
